Since Credit Cards help you make purchases now and settle the payment at a later date, you are essentially borrowing money from the bank. You are required to repay this amount by the end of the billing cycle. The bank offers an interest-free grace period of up to 30-50 days from the date of the transaction.
Reasons to pay Credit Card Bills on time
It is advisable to settle your Credit Bill Payment before the due date. This helps you avoid accruing interest charges on your subsequent statement. This will help avoid the accumulation of fees and interest charges. The benefits of paying Credit Card dues in full include:

You have the option to apply for the Auto Debit Facility, allowing for the timely repayment of Credit Card to Credit Card bill payment of either the total amount due or the minimum amount due, directly from your Axis Bank savings or current account every month. You can settle your Credit Card bills using your Axis Bank Debit card at any Axis Bank ATM by following these steps:

a. Cash Payment
To pay your Credit Card bill in cash, you can visit your nearest Axis Bank branch. Please note that a service fee of ₹100 per payment will be charged for cash payments of your Credit Card bills at an Axis Bank branch. The payment will be processed on the same day.
b. Cheque/Draft
For cheque or draft payments, you can select the desired amount and issue the cheque/draft in favour of "Axis Bank Card No. (16-digit Credit Card Number)." Drop the cheque at any Axis Bank branch.

a. National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)
With the NEFT facility, you can pay your Credit Card bills online from any other bank account. All you need to do is:

Axis Bank recommends cardholders to pay their Credit Card dues via above specified methods. Any Credit Card payment made via other channels, including any 3rd party apps non-affiliated with Axis Bank, may have a higher TAT for clearance. Penal charges, as applicable on the card variant, will be applicable if funds are not received by Axis Bank by due date. For any queries arising from delayed/non-reflection of payment on card made via non-affiliated channels, customer may reach out to the respective channels directly.
If you use a Credit Card regularly, you will get a monthly credit bill or statement. The Credit Card statement includes various details related to your transactions as well as any overdue fees, or interest charges if you have converted any transaction into EMIs or carried forward the outstanding amount.
