Video based account opening process for Easy Access Salary Account
Confirm your identity by providing your PAN, Aadhaar or VID and mobile number
Share the required details of your employment and upload employment proof in accepted format and size.
Share the required KYC details (towards self, family and address) to set up your account.
Upon successful video KYC, you will be directed to the set preferences page. You can confirm the account type selected and the name you want on your debit card.
The opening of the Axis Bank Easy Access Salary Account requires fulfilment of certain eligibility criteria. If you are eligible, the application for Easy Access Salary Account can be made online or at your nearest Axis Bank branch. Make sure all your documents are in order for a hassle-free account opening process.
To be able to open an Easy Access Salary Account, you need to submit certain documents. Make sure you attach all the necessary documents, including ID and address proofs, with the application form. Here is the list of documents required.

Savings Account under Salary scheme is a special account offered to customers with regular direct salary credits coming into this account. In case the monthly salary is not credited into the account for more than 3 consecutive months, the special features offered under the said Account stands withdrawn and the account shall be treated as a Normal Savings Account under our standard charge structure and Average Monthly Balance (AMB) is required to be maintained, and all charges shall be levied and applied as applicable to normal savings accounts. Moreover the Know Your Customer must be complied with as applicable to a Normal Savings Bank account and documents are to be submitted, failing which there would be a credit freeze marked on the said account. Balance requirement for Digital Salary Account
Salary accounts are “Zero Balance” accounts. You need not to maintain any minimum balance for salary accounts.
It is always good to have a nominee for your account. In case of unforeseen circumstances, your account funds can be transferred to the nominee without any hassle. You can, however, skip nominee details while opening the account and add one later.
Currently, the Digital Salary Account is available only for Single Account Holders.
You need to complete all 5 steps of your application within 3 days (72 hours) from completion of your Aadhaar based OTP verification (Step 1).
Post successful completion of Video KYC, your application will be processed, during which a backend verification is done. Duration of this verification process may vary from 24 hour to a few days, depending on various factors.
In the unlikely event where you have not received an email confirmation from us regarding account activation even after 4 business days, please reach out to us via the call center numbers given here to check the status of your account. .

The E-Debit Card is a virtual Debit card. It provides easy and secure online transactions and does not have any plastic existence.
It can be used to register for Axis Mobile App. Once registered, you may view details such as your 16 digit card number, expiry date and CVV via the App.

Daily transaction limits for my Debit Cards.
The Virtual Debit Card will have an e-commerce transaction limit of ₹1 Lakh per day.
The Visa Online Rewards Debit Card and Priority Debit Card has a transaction limit of ₹5 Lakh per day.
The Burgundy Debit Card has a transaction limit of ₹6 Lakh per day.

Delivery of physical Debit Card.
The physical Debit Card as per account variant will be delivered to your communication address within 7 working days from the time of account activation. If you have not received it please reach out to us here for resolution. However, with the special circumstances that we are currently facing nationwide, some delay in delivery may be expected.
You may use your virtual debit card only for online transactions like shopping, travel, recharge, transferring funds etc. You may also use it to withdraw cash at ATMs that have cardless withdrawal facility.
You may use your physical Debit card for online transactions, offline transactions at merchant POS and cash withdrawals at any ATM.
Yes, both the Debit Cards (virtual and Physical Debit cards) that come with your Digital Salary Account will remain active for usage.

No, you need to update your signature to be eligible for a cheque book. You may update your signature through the Axis Mobile app> Insta Services or you may visit your nearest Axis Bank branch to place a request to get your signature updated in the Bank's records. Once the Signature is updated in your Salary bank account, you can place the request for a cheque book.

1. Customer understands that he/she has no objection in authenticating themselves with Aadhaar based authentication system and voluntarily consent to providing their Aadhaar number, Biometric and/or One Time Password (OTP) data (and/or any similar authentication mechanism) for the purposes of seeding their new account with NPCI mapper to enable me to receive Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) including LPG Subsidy from Govt. of India (GOI) their my new account.

I hereby state that I have no objection in authenticating myself with Aadhaar based authentication system and consent to providing my Aadhaar Number, Biometric and/or (One Time Pin) OTP data (and/or any similar authentication mechanism) for Aadhaar Based authentication for the purposes of availing of the Banking Service from Axis Bank.
