The opening of the Axis Bank Prime Salary Account requires you to fulfil certain eligibility criteria. Eligible individuals can open this account by submitting the completed application form along with the necessary documents. Here's the eligibility criteria for Prime Salary Account.

Ensure your eligibility

To open this account, the applicant must have introduction from the company in the Bank's format (Stamped and Signed by the authorized signatory). Employees with a net monthly salary credit of ₹25,000 to ₹1 lakh per month will be eligible.

To open the Prime Salary Account you will have to submit certain documents for Prime Salary Account. Make sure that the documents are in order so that there are no hassles in the application process and your account will be opened within a few days.

Savings Account under salary scheme is a special account offered to customers with regular direct salary credits coming into this account. In case the monthly salary is not credited into the account for more than 3 consecutive months, the special features offered under the said account stands withdrawn and the account shall be treated as a normal savings account under our standard charge structure and Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) is required to be maintained, and all charges shall be levied and applied as applicable to normal savings accounts. Moreover the Know Your Customer must be complied with as applicable to a normal savings bank account and documents are to be submitted, failing which there would be a credit freeze marked on the said account. The features of normal savings bank account and charge structure are available on the bank's website – www.axisbank.com. You may please contact your nearest Axis Bank branch for further details.

Changed proposition with effect from 10th February 2017:

1. To be eligible for 1% cashback on debit card spends a customer will need to spend a minimum amount of ₹15,000 in a month, on the debit card. Cashback will be capped at ₹750 per month.

2. To be eligible for the 25% cashback on movies, the customer will need to spend a minimum amount of ₹750 per month for purchase of movie tickets using the debit card. Cashback will be capped at ₹1,000 per year.
