Initial public offer (IPO)

It is the selling of securities to the public in the primary market. It is the largest source of funds with long or indefinite maturity for the company. The securities could be through fresh issuance or offer for sale by existing holders.

New fund offer (NFO)

A new fund offer (NFO) is the first-time subscription offer for a new scheme launched by the asset management companies (AMCs).

Rights issue

A rights issue is a primary market offer to the existing shareholders to buy additional shares of the company on a pro-rata basis within a specified date at a discounted price compared to the current market price.

Qualified institutional placements (QIPS)

It allows an Indian-listed company to raise capital from domestic markets without the need to submit any pre-issue filings to market regulators.

Non-convertible debentures (NCD)

NCD are fixed-income instruments, usually issued by high-rated companies in the form of a public issue to accumulate long-term capital appreciation.

FAQs

If you are an Axis Bank net banking customer, you can now apply online. Log in to net-banking and select the "investment" option from the bottom left menu. Then, select IPO and ‘rights issue’. You will be redirected to our IPO online system.

To apply for an IPO from Axis Bank using ASBA, you should have an account with us. However, it is not compulsory for you to have a demat account.

Register on Google Pay & link your Axis Bank account with Axis OK handle.

Enter your UPI ID in the IPO application form and submit it.

Approve the notification in the Google Pay app to block the amount for IPO.

On allotment of the shares, the money is automatically debited from this blocked amount.
