Axis Bank inaugurates exclusive Commercial Banking Group Centre for SME customers in North East

The bank now has a total of 144 branches & 270 ATMs in North East

Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector bank inaugurates its first and an exclusive Commercial Banking Group (CBG) Centre for SME customers in North East States. The centre was inaugurated by Chief Guest - Shri Sanjeev Singha, Regional Director, RBI in the presence of Mr. Lal Singh, EVP and Regional Branch Banking Head - East, Mr. Sangram Singh, EVP and Head – CBG and Mr. Jabir Hussain Rahim, Circle Head, North East, Axis Bank.

Through this exclusive CBG Centre, the bank will offer bouquet of services to its SME customers like SME loans and advances like Cash Credit, Overdraft, Term Loan, Bank Guarantee, Letter of Credit etc. to all the SME customers of the entire North East. The centre will cater to SMEs with turnover of ₹ 10 crores and above.

The new centre is located at Axis Bank Ltd, CBG Centre, 4th Floor, Chibber House, G.S. Road, Guwahati, Assam.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sangram Singh, EVP and Head – Commercial Banking Group, Axis Bank said, ‘’It is our constant endeavour to address all financial requirements of our different customer segments. This dedicated CBG centre is a one stop shop for all the SME entrepreneurs wherein they will be given financial guidance and support. Our overall SME business in North East has crossed over ₹ 1000 + crore which includes all verticals like Small Enterprise Group, Medium Enterprise Group and Auto dealer finance."

Currently, Axis Bank Ltd now has a total of 144 branches and 270 ATMs in North East Circle and 26 branches and 67 ATMs in Guwahati, Assam.
