Please note that while using your debit card at merchant establishments or at any non-Axis Bank ATMs (especially abroad) you can only access your primary accounts linked to the card. Please note you are eligible for other Bank ATM transaction fee reversals only after you have used your card, at least once, for a purchase transaction. Fee for other Bank ATM transactions will be initially debited from the linked current account and will be reversed in the subsequent month.

Axis Bank Debit Cards come with a comprehensive insurance cover on debit cards. These include:

• Personal Accident Insurance Cover: In the unfortunate event of loss of life in a mishap, the customer's beneficiaries will receive the benefit of accident insurance of Rs. 5 lakhs.
• Purchase Protection: All consumer durable goods purchased using the debit card are insured against fire, natural calamity, burglary and housebreaking up to 90 days from the date of purchase. You will be eligible for a combined lost card liability and purchase protection of up to Rs. 5 lakhs.

Note: To avail of the insurance cover, a report would have to be made and given to Axis Bank within 60 days of a personal accident or 30 days of loss of card. The insurance cover would be activated if you have made at least one POS transaction within 90 days prior to the date of the mishap.
