Vijay Shetty is the Executive Vice President – Small Banking Business and Commercial Banking Group at Axis Bank since April 2016. He is a seasoned banking professional with more than 27 years of hands-on experience in the lending space, especially in the areas of customer acquisition (corporate and retail), risk management, underwriting, process management, digital transformation & portfolio management.

At Axis Bank, as Business Head of SBB & CBG, he is responsible for the strategy & execution of acquiring MSME customers for lending, deposits & trade solutions. Functions like business development, product management, P&L, strategy, digital initiatives, portfolio management are under his supervision.
