Shailesh Upadhyay leads the Product & Portfolio function of Retail Liabilities, Third Party Products, Retail Trade & Forex. He has been with Axis Bank for last four years.

Shailesh has more than 25 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services. In his previous stint, he served as Senior President at Yes Bank Ltd responsible for Cards Acceptance business and Alternate Channel. Prior to joining Yes Bank, he was head of E-commerce business at HDFC Bank Ltd responsible for building online acceptance of Credit, Debit and Prepaid cards. He has handled varied responsibilities in HDFC Bank starting from leading the Credit Card Sales team at National Level to heading Alternate channel for Credit Cards, Liabilities, Life and General Insurance.

Shailesh is an alumnus of IPS academy Indore. In his personal time, he reads and watches movies.
