Rahul Garg

Rahul leads the Group Head - Learning & Development at Axis Bank and brings over 17 years of diverse experience across banking, human resources, strategy, and risk management. In his current role, he is driving the shift towards a high-impact learning organisation that directly enables business outcomes such as productivity, performance, and growth while embedding learning as a core part of the work culture.

Over the years, Rahul has anchored strategic initiatives across talent development, enterprise risk, and corporate strategy — equipping him with a holistic view of how people, processes, and performance intersect. He has built scalable learning ecosystems, designed role-based capability academies, and introduced frameworks that enable learning in the flow of work.

With a strong belief in the role of technology in driving capability, he continues to explore new platforms and tools that make learning more personalised, accessible, and outcome-driven.

Rahul holds a postgraduate degree in management from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Panjab University.
