Rahul leads the Learning and Development function at Axis Bank and brings over 17 years of diverse experience across banking, human resources, strategy, and risk management. In his current role, he is driving the shift towards a high-impact learning organization that directly enables business outcomes such as productivity, performance, and growth — while embedding learning as a core part of the work culture.

Over the years, Rahul has anchored strategic initiatives across talent development, enterprise risk, and corporate strategy — equipping him with a holistic view of how people, processes, and performance intersect. He has built scalable learning ecosystems, designed role-based capability academies, and introduced frameworks that enable learning in the flow of work.

With a strong belief in the role of technology in driving capability, he continues to explore new platforms and tools that make learning more personalized, accessible, and outcome-driven.

Rahul holds a postgraduate degree in management from the Management Development Institute and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Punjab University.
