Avinash Raghavendra

Avinash Raghavendra serves as the Group Head of Information Technology and Retail Operations at Axis Bank. In this role, he oversees the Bank's technology landscape and end-to-end retail operations, driving strategy, execution, and service delivery to ensure a secure, resilient, and efficient ecosystem for customers and employees. He brings over 25 years of experience in banking and technology.

Prior to his current role, Avinash led the technology function as Head of Information Technology at Axis Bank, where he shaped the Bank's digital and core platforms and enabled large-scale transformation programmes in partnership with the business units.

Avinash serves as Additional Director at Freecharge Payment Technology Pvt. Ltd. and is a member of the Sparsh Board at Axis Bank.

Avinash holds a master’s degree in information management from the University of Mumbai and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
