Avinash Raghavendra

Avinash is a senior technology and operations leader with more than 26 years of experience in banking. He currently serves as Head of Information Technology and Retail Operations at Axis Bank, with responsibility for the bank technology landscape and end to end retail operations. In this role, he drives technology strategy, execution and service delivery to ensure a secure, resilient and efficient banking ecosystem for customers and employees.

During his tenure at Axis Bank, Avinash has previously led the technology function as Head of Information Technology, shaping the bank digital and core platforms and enabling large transformation programs in partnership with business units.

Avinash is a recognized voice in the industry and is regularly invited to speak at leading academic institutions and banking associations on technology in banking, operational excellence and digital transformation.
