K. S. Giridhar

K. S. Giridhar is the Executive Director (P & GS) of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). He has over 35 years of experience at LIC, driving transformation across Group Business, Investments, Technology, Governance and Pension Solutions. He has extensive experience in managing large-scale institutional businesses, investment portfolios, regulatory frameworks, and government partnerships.

He is currently leading LIC's Group Business with Assets under Management (AUM) of approximately ₹14 trillion, while serving several enterprise-level governance and strategic committees.

During his tenure at LIC, he has held various leadership positions, including Executive Director – Investments (Monitoring & IT), Chief – Investment Debt Operations and Equity Research, and Head – Group Business Marketing Operations.

He is not a director on the board of any other company.

Mr. Giridhar holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.
